| This run-down fifties modern office building was renovated with sensitive sustainable design techniques into an award-winning building. A floor was added to the top of the building and a services core was added to the west side. The east wall of the services core is an autoclave aerated concrete panel wall, exposed as interior and exterior finish. The panels were innovatively stacked from the foundation to a height of eighty feet. | |||||||||||

Thesingle
wythe AAC wall, only eight inches thick, provides a four hour fire rating,
effective thermal insulation and a durable, attractive exterior finish. |
